Wall Sculpture

Sculpture has been my ambition since my early days in college. The greatest challenge is always to create unique works which, although abstract, touch another individual. It’s almost as though the abstraction is it’s own language which transcends all language.

With over 45 years experience in the craft of making sculpture, the process is nearly as normal as breathing. When I imagine a sculpture, I see it as a total image, finished, in my mind, before the sculputure is started. Yet there are times when pleasant surprises happen during the fabrication, when a new idea springboards from the immediate work. My only goal is to never get bored making sculpture, and never give up new ways of finding forms and ideas to keep it fresh.
